The IFS Story
Founded in 2015, IFS and its dynamic team bring decades of plant experience to the table. Our headquarters in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, sits on 7 acres of land. with 22,000 square feet of shop space, the IFS facility features 40-ton overhead crane capacity, five shops, 32’ plasma cutting table, new plate rolls -1.5” thick, main office, a large laydown and storage area. The complete IFS campus is entirely fenced with 24-hour surveillance and other security protocols.
Our Team
James Dye
IFS President
James Dye founded IFS in 2015 following a 30-year career in Oklahoma refineries. Starting in operations, James spent his later years as the Capital Projects Manager executing multiple projects in excess of 100 million dollars each.
Travis Dodd
General Manager
Travis Dodd brings 17 years of experience in contract construction to IFS. Throughout his career, Travis has specialized in boiler/pressure vessel repairs and specialty welding. He holds API 510, 570, 653, Source Insp. Certifications. In addition, he is one of only 1,000 professionals in the United States to be certified as AWS Senior CWI.
Bryce Olmstead
QC Manager
An OSU graduate in mechanical engineering with AutoCAD and SolidWorks modeling expertise, Bryce Olmstead has played a pivotal role in the growth of IFS throughout the past four years.
Randall Yates
Shop Superintendent
Randall Yates brings 38 years of experience in fabrication and welding to his role at IFS. After beginning his career at Piping Engineering, Yates spent nine years as a Navy nuclear welder.
